Dr. Sayed El-Badawy
Founder & Chairman, Sigma Pharmaceutical Group
Dr. Sayed El-Badawy is the visionary founder and Chairman of Sigma Pharmaceutical Group, one of Egypt’s leading healthcare organizations. A graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alexandria University, he established Sigma with the ambition of building a world-class Egyptian pharmaceutical company founded on innovation, quality, and scientific excellence.
For nearly three decades, his leadership has driven Sigma’s growth into a trusted pharmaceutical group, advancing local manufacturing, expanding access to quality healthcare, and contributing to the development of Egypt’s pharmaceutical industry.
Legacy
Beyond his business achievements, Dr. El-Badawy has played a distinguished role in Egypt’s public life as Chairman of Al Wafd Party, one of the country’s oldest and most influential political institutions, reflecting his enduring commitment to responsible leadership and national development.
